David Jirik has been taking in what the world dishes out for better than half a century. This page exists for no particular reason other than to hold down the davidjirik.com domain.
David lives and works in sunny Santa Ana, California
David grew up in Redford Township, on the west side of Detroit, Michigan, attended Redford Union High School and graduated from Michigan State University. He has two younger brothers, Allan in West Bloomfield, Michigan and Andrew, in El Segundo, California.

Growing up he spent summers at Burroughs Farms in Brighton, Michigan, a square mile paradise for kids on Little Crooked Lake. It was an employee benefit his father, Warren got by working at Burroughs Corporation. Alas, time marches on and they're all gone. Burroughs merged with Sperry to form Unisys years ago. Burroughs Farms was sold off and is now the exclusive neighborhood of Oak Pointe. David is in the process of creating a website to remember Burroughs Farms. He needs pictures and remembrances of the Farms. If you have any, please contribute. David's father Warren went to the great garage in the sky in 1999. David's mother Wini did the same in March of 2008 except she went to the great Mexican restaurant in the sky. It's located here 30 13.254 -87 32.156 . Here's her tribute website.
